Seems to be well built but has a couple design faults. Most irritating is the talking message. Instead of just saying the numbers as you would read them it says "Your weight is one humdred and something something and something tenths pounds" Even with soft voice it is very hard to distinguish the run together weight. The liquid christal display is set behind a cover lens with no lighting so it is hard to read. But it does remain on for a few seconds after the voice so you can get down on your knees and a flashlight to read it.
