The base adjusts from 2 to 7 feet, while the flexible neck itself is 30 inches long, allowing you to position the light in the most optimal location for improved viewing. Even the head itself can rotate 1 1/2 times. The light shade has a patented heat sink system which assures that the light source will never heat up, even after hours of use, assuring total comfort and safety. The light source is rated up to a 100 watt incandescent bulb, but with a full spectrum bulb, you may even find that you can use a lower rated bulb. Floor lamp is available either on a fixed stand or on a 5 point, compact rolling caster base. It can also come with a 2X, 5" rimless magnifying lens, to further augment your reading capability.
