The PRODIGY Autocode Talking Glucose Meter announces your results in an easy to understand voice. Each session starts with the monitor speaking your control number and the temperature and beeps when sufficient blood has been absorbed. The Autocode feature automatically codes each new vial of strips. This talking meter is great for low vision users. You can also download results to your computer for storage and review. The Prodigy Autocode can only be used with Prodigy Autocode QuickDraw Test Strips and Prodigy Control Solution.

After using the larger, bulky talking monitor, this has been great. The only trouble I had in the beginning was finding somewhere to get my strips. You are also cheapest on the strips. This moniter is easy to use, very portable and has been consistently accurate.

I am legally blind and find that this talking meter does everything it claims to; however, the download feature is misleading. It does not come with the interface cable you need to perform this function and it has to be special-ordered upon request.
