TapMemo is a revolutionary, handheld, battery powered voice activated personal assistant. It contains only one multi-functional button and two volume buttons. All verbal commands are Speaker Independent which means the user does not need to train the unit - it will work 'right out of the box'
TapMemo main features are:
Memo Pad - Can contain up to 30 memos, each up to one minute long. Each memo is given a name and then can be called upon simply by saying its name. User is able to hear all memos played back and scroll back and forth. User can delete a single memo or all memos.
Phone Book - Can contain up to 60 entries. Each entry can store one phone number of up to 48 digits and 7 seconds voice recording of additional data such as an address, etc. The user can command the unit to dial a certain number. By placing the unit near a telephone handset, the unit will emit DTMF tones corresponding to the number and the phone will dial them - no buttons pressed. User is able to hear all names played back and scroll back and forth. User can delete a single name or all names.
Calendar - Can contain up to 30 appointments, each having a reminder. Each
appointment is given a name and 7 seconds voice recording of additional data. User is able to hear all appointments played back chronologically and scroll back and forth. User can delete a single appointment or all appointments.
Alarm Clock - A 24 cycle alarm clock is included which features a progressive wake up mechanism that will increase the volume gradually.
Locking Command - Enables the user to lock the unit against unwanted use and protect personal data stored in the unit.
Unit locator - whistling will cause the unit to speak a high volume, short phrase that enables the user to locate the unit around the house in case one does not know where it was left.
Talking time and date - Two separate commands.

This feature rich device is powered from a very strong Lithium-Ion based battery that can be fully charged in less then 4 hours and can supply more then 10 working hours and more then 11 months in standby mode between each charging cycle.
TapMemo includes an earphone jack, a charging jack and a belt clip on its back side. The unit is also equipped with a hidden reset button in case the user needs to perform a soft or hard reset.

Question: When I press the TapKey, I do not hear anything. What can be wrong? Answer: Most chances are that the battery power is very very low. When this happens, TapMemo shuts down all applications and will only wait for you to charge it. If charging the unit does not help, please contact us for Service.
Question: When working with the unit, I noticed that the volume level cannot reach the levels it did when the battery was fully charged. Is that Normal? Answer: Yes. TapMemo has a built in mechanism that will reduce the maximum volume level allowed when it notices that the battery is running low. This is done in order to prolong the battery life by reducing the power sent to the speaker. Simply charge the unit.
Question: I accidentally pressed the TapKey button for more then a second and TapMemo got into the memo adding command. What is going on? Answer: This 'shortcut' is intentional and was built in so you can start recording a memo quickly.
Question: What happens if I lock the unit and forget the unlocking code? Answer: Here you have two options: The first is to send the unit for service. We will unlock it for you and send it back. The second option is for you to perform a hard reset which will unlock the unit but will also clear the entire memory (phone book, memo pad and calendar) and will set the unit back to the factory setting. To hard reset your unit do the following: Press and hold the TapKey. While holding, insert a pin or a metal clip into the reset aperture at the back of the unit and press shortly. Release the TapKey. TapMemo will state its code version. The unit is now unlocked.
Question: I have trained around 30 names into my phone book, and TapMemo now says "phone book is full" when trying to train the next name. I thought the phone book can contain 60 names. What is going on? Answer: Your TapMemo memory is full. The number of entries, of all types, that TapMemo can hold varies with their combined length. You can free space most effectively by clearing any memos that you no longer need. They will generally be the longest entries
